FWIW, many breast-feeding mothers do not regain fertility until they stop breast-feeding. The reason for this, as I understand it, is that breast-feeding causes a hormone to be secreted that suppresses ovulation.

Interestingly, mothers who pump (express) breast milk may resume normal menstruation sooner, however. Apparently it's something in the baby's saliva that causes the hormone to be produced.

Don't say mensturation.

It seems like the same thing that happened to my dog when he had liver cancer. Lots of puking. He has no energy. He walks around and makes funny noises. He is still friendly to people but when the little young cat gets near him he just gets mad and makes a horrifying sound(sounds almost like a baby screaming).

I had his blood tested at the vet two weeks ago which was like 150 bucks, and they said that nothing showed up. They basically said nothing was wrong with him. They gave him some medicine that I had to squirt in his mouth that was supposed to make stop being sick in the stomach.

This sucks. I feel so bad for him cause he was a really cool cat. I am thinking he is going to end up having to be put to sleep cause either my vet is inept or he has something a blood test won't pick up.

Does anyone know of anything else that it could possibly be? I REALLY don't want to have another pet put to sleep, especially one that 4 months ago was just young and healthy. WHAT THE HELL

I get sick of paying money to be told something that is so obviously not true.

Did the vet also do an x-ray? Considering your cat's young age, it could anything, even something like an extremely bad hairball or other digestive tract blockage (dental floss, string, etc.).

Here's a pet-vet website, kinda like a pet version of WebMD.

Thanks guys. I just had my mom leave work to meet me at the vet. After I made that post the cat puked again and it appeared like he was on the verge of dying right there. He wouldn't even move.

She knows I don't want to have the cat put to sleep but in case that is what they do I do not want to be there. I am sick of seeing the guy look miserable and appear to be suffering.

It's the same vet, there will be no reason for them to say there isn't anything wrong with him this time. I don't think he would have made it through the rest of the day.

I am not expecting good results. I actually bragged about that cat. I never thought I'd like a cat that much.

Does hash still come around? I haven't seen hash or opium since we invaded Afghanistan. Maybe it's just where I live.

Just to give some more context to the type of person we're dealing with here:
Just days before announcing her pregnancy in December, Jamie Lynn shocked a boy at a party by asking him for sex. "It's cool, I'm pregnant," she said. "I can't get pregnant again!"

Isn't that a line from "Juno"? Or I guess it was something to the effect of "My parents aren't worried about me, what more trouble can I get into, I'm already pregnant."

I think it fell out of favor because it's just like trees but doesn't get you as high.
