So to Guiliani there must be a clear winner and clear loser in every war. He says that if Obama says we did not win, it's admitting that Al-Qaeda or did. I think it's not that cut and dry. Why can't you say that there is no winner. It's not a sports game. When the objectives are based on lies, how can you win anyway?

It's entirely possible that I'm totally misreading this, and it wouldn't be the first time, but based on the Republican convention, I feel more confident than I have in awhile that Obama is going to win.

i think that's what we are all scared of in here...

makes for really good tv though. a room full of rich white ladies with very dark lipstick, stringy bangs, and really wide eyes screaming "drill baby drill!". probably the most frightening image i could ever cook up.

(im beginning to notice the loudest applause by quite a bit for anything negative about obama, and a general subdued response to anything positive about mccain or palin.)
