I barely post here from a normal computer.

the iPhone's web browser is the best, though. BlackBerry's blows.

BB browser does suck, but you can install Opera Mini (at least on the Curve) for a slightly improved experience.

Opera requires too much fiddling for me, I tried it recently and it really bugged me. Mainly because the little red zoom square is just a tad too small to read some of the sites I use, requiring me to scroll side-a-ways and negating the point.

British people you've never met before tend to make for good billiard opponents. And then they lose to you and they still want to play. And then you talk to them about booze and it turns out they're only into drinking cider. Then you talk to their equally British friend who's actually from Wales and it turns out he's actually into real beer. Then you discover the original wants to do his best to hit your hot American female friend despite her being trashed beyond belief. Turns out she doesn't know why she's drunk, but you saw her drinking at 5:30pm and it makes sense. Then her stupidly stupid waste of an older brother suggest you go smoke a bowl of "killer" weed at your house while his younger sister potentially gets raped. You say no because you think her brother is a waste of flesh and despite your desire to smoke up, you'd rather not do it with him. Makes for a reasonably interesting evening. Tuesdays in the summer can be interesting.

Starbucks is closing 600 stores. Clearly, the Armageddon is near.

I know that the "didja hear Starbucks opened a Starbucks in a Starbucks" type observation is the hacky comedian joke of this generation, but it really is amazing how many there are. Here's the map of local Starbuckses by my work. Amazingly, they're constructing another one at 13th and Chestnut as we speak (which would be nearly equidistant on the map to stores 1, 2 & 5):
