I don't know. Talked to him on the phone and didn't think it would be appropriate to ask if he still has it. I did consider it, though, because it literally was the best afro ever.

My book revisions are thankfully complete and now the publisher is talking about an early 2009 publication date. This pleases me on multiple levels, but none more than knowing I don't have to do anything else for it in the next month or so. Between working full-time, a summer class at Moravian, and massive amounts of tedious changes to the manuscript, I've become just about completely burnt out over the last month or so. I desperately need a break. I haven't seen more than an inning or two of Phillies baseball this month and my TV hasn't been turned on in about two weeks. I don't think that's healthy for me.

Just throwin' George Berry of wolves out there I deem it a better afro because I feel it was hard to achieve great affro-ness in football.



Although I do wonder how the hell he headed the ball.

Since I started working, I really can't sleep past 7 am anymore, even (especially?) on weekends.

Made a cup of fresh ground Kona and just had a coupla Eggos.

I just watched BabyVox fall backwards off the couch -- it was scary because he was going to fall and I couldn't stop it. He fell, bonked his head, and then got up and laughed. I'm grateful for the thick carpet and extra padding we got under it.

I need breakfast, but I'm not up to making it yet.

Because my wife makes me, I generally eat the "healthy" cereals like Raisin Bran and other things that make one poop, but occasionally I splurge and the G-Grahams are usually A #1.
