Because my wife makes me, I generally eat the "healthy" cereals like Raisin Bran and other things that make one poop, but occasionally I splurge and the G-Grahams are usually A #1.

I've been eating oatmeal with fruit in it for the last couple months. Now I sit here with my second and a half bowl, the box of cereal and a half gallon of milk. I'm wondering if I kept going, which would last longer, the milk or the cereal.

I'll stop after this bowl, but I know I will be hungry in two hours. That's the downside to cold cereal.

No comedian was better in their prime? Give me a break. I've seen the old stuff.

Better do that often right now, because in a couple months you won't be able to do that for a lot of years.

Carlin's bitterness was the reason why he was not only funny but profound as well. It was one of the main reasons why I liked him -- he wasn't going to sugarcoat his thoughts.

Best stand-up comedian ever, and there will never, ever, ever be a better one.

I don't mean to disrespect the dead or anything, but it's like Jeff Koons just died and everyone is calling him the best artist of the 20th Century.

This pleases me on multiple levels, but none more than knowing I don't have to do anything else for it in the next month or so. Between working full-time, a summer class at Moravian, and massive amounts of tedious changes to the manuscript, I've become just about completely burnt out over the last month or so. I desperately need a break. I haven't seen more than an inning or two of Phillies baseball this month and my TV hasn't been turned on in about two weeks. I don't think that's healthy for me.

You might want to update your fantasy baseball roster

Why bother? I haven't done it in a couple months. I just haven't had the time for it like I thought I would. I just checked it for the for the first time in several weeks and I see I'm beating you well despite my total non-involvement and half my roster on the DL. How does that make you feel?

HBO had one of George Carlin's stand up acts on last night. I could only watch about 15 minutes. It was awful and not even a little bit funny. Just an angry old man complaining about how much he hates life. It's like he wasn't even trying to funny but just wanted an audience to bitch and moan to. His older stuff isn't much better in my view.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!
