It's somewhat late so I'll just throw out there that Carlin sucked. His stand-up was just terrible.

the first time i ever saw carlin was when i was 14 and it was one of his shows from the 70s. me and my mom were appalled/horrified and also couldn't stop laughing pretty much the entire time.

I think this has become a new staple for cable and premium television. Much like Shawshank a few years ago, I can rarely ever watch tv for 2 days without seeing it on.
