Are you thinking of Latin? Theories vary, but generally in classical Latin even though a consonantal "I" will often be transcribed as as "J", the pronunciation will still be that of the "i" sound combined with the following vowel.

So, in Julius Caesar, the beginning of Julius is pronounced sort of as (longish I + U), or kind of eeyuu, similar to a y sound.

I was mostly just giving Housh a hard time because my initial thought was the Spanglish thing. I think it's a central Europe/Slavic type thing too, but I could be way off on that.

Like 2-3 hours after I posted this I went into the kitchen to grab a drink and just blacked out/dropped. I remember opening the fridge door and the next thing I know my wife is standing over me asking me if she should call an ambulance. I told her no but I saw a lot of blood and didn't know where it was coming from. It ended up only being a small cut on the back of my left arm that I had to give myself 3 staples to close once I was up and my head was clear. But that was a few hours later because with my luck I must have hit the generator in my lower back from my spinal cord implant really hard because it was sticking out like 3 times what it typically does. I normally have no feeling in my left calf down to the left side of my foot anyway but last night I had little to no feeling down my whole left leg for about an hour or two (but I did feel it coming back little by little during the time I was laying there). Eventually my wife got me to a chair until my head cleared up and my arm had stopped bleeding for the most part. I have to give her credit for holding it closed and holding up a mirror while I stapled because it was in a weird spot on my arm and she isn't too good with blood.

I thought I would be a mess today I feel pretty fine for the most part. The swelling went down a lot in my back with ice and I'm changing the dressing and pouring peroxide on my arm every few hours. My leg is still kind of weak and my head is still a little fuzzy (it took me like 90 minutes to type this- thank you spellchecker) and I'm kinda nauseous so I probably have a minor concussion but I don't do shit all day anyway but play video games and smoke pot. Bottom line- disaster averted. It could have been a lot worse. I think I was more pissed off about missing most of the Phillies game last night. OK and the Flyers, too. I'll admit it- for the first time in my life I am enjoying hockey.

Haha I forgot the whole reason I quoted myself in the first place was to say either I pissed someone/something off or I need to be more spiritual.

I don't like that when anyone, really anyone is interviewed on television and asked a question, their response always begins with "Well..."

Between the drug use, the freaky stories and the sharp sports insights, Phight On! definitely has become one of my favorite posters. I know he's going to bring it on the 20 Qs.

How did I miss that Phight On has a generator in his back? Mentalness. Plus, stapling yourself up always gets bonus points. Formidable. And obviously cool that you're not seriously ill as a result of the fall and blackout.
