I shouldn't have to pay money to get a copy of a transcript sent from one college to another. It should be a courtesy extended to people who spent lots of money on tuition.

Transcripts were free from my college. I thought they usually only cost money if it was a rush job. Sucks.

I'm giving up on this bull on watching some tube. 700 words, 400 of which are a References page.

It wasn't much money, but the notion of having to pay for that just annoys me a little. The University of Dayton wanted $2 for it, but then an additional $2.25 because I placed the order online as opposed to mailing it in. That makes little sense, but whatever. Drake University wanted $5 on a faxed order and that one annoys me a little bit less because I didn't pay them any money to go to school there. But really, you'd think colleges would have some kind of national network they could just tap into to get student records from other schools. This requesting copies to be sent in envelopes with official university seals is a bit much.

Some people are just a bit overzealous in their securing of packages, to the point where they're difficult to open without risking damage to their contents.

That might send the wrong message.

I want to be able to hold it in my left hand out of the window as I'm driving home on the beltway. I figure it might make the commute a little smoother.

There's also this

Image

TUNA MISSILE

Attach to a rope and then slide down the leader line to grab tuna by the head, thus making escape due to rough seas, light tackle, or fighting fish impossible. Claws swivel freely, then drive into head upon retrieval. Both models have a 15" opening when extended. The 4 kg rope hole dia. is 1/4", and the 6 kg model has a 1/2" rope hole. Stop losing fish!

Trying to get back to arkisaw after a visit to NJ for a memorial service (you know) and found that we could not leave last night thanks to weather and the lack of a connecting flight we could make. Stayed in the Airport Marriot (since we had to be at the airport at 5:00 am) which was possibly the most expensive night I've ever spent in a hotel (I guess the view of the aiport parking deck commands a premium).

I get back, and there's just too much on this board to catch up with. I also just got a part in our community play, (Dr. Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace!) and the first rehearsal is tonight.

I'm rambling, and I don't think I'll be at my best tonight.
