I'm inclined to agree. Which is why this is complex, and why it sucks. But that's life.

I've been in that situation before, and what would be great is to run into her in some other setting. For some reason the pressure vibe is all different, and you have a natural starter -- the sincere, "Hey, don't I know you from somewhere." The only problem is how to make this happen but not creepily so.

it also reminds me of lyrics from one of my favorite death cab songs:
"and i'll sit and wonder
of every love that could've been
if i'd only thought of something charming to say"

But here's the problem with your scenario. Me saying "dont I know you from somewhere" would make me feel like a jackass. Because I see this chick 5 days a week. She knows exactly where I know her from, I know exactly where I know her from, thats not fooling anyone. And it would just feel odd. I'd have to come up with something witty to say and I'd have to execute it HAMELS. If I choke, thats the end of it. In college, I was aces in situations like this, but I was getting regular practice. My game isn't sharp at all right now, namely because I just haven't cared. And now I seem to care regarding a chick I don't even know. $#@!.
There's just no good answer here. She just needs to come up and talk to me. I need to send out a {magic vibe} so she knows thats a good idea.
