I have this killer titanium/stainless steel Swiss Army watch that the Mrs got me six or seven years ago. The watch part is real thin, and it's a dull gray color so it matches a t-shirt or a suit. I love to have a watch but I always beat them to hell. This one has a sapphire crystal, can't scratch the thing if I tried. First watch I've ever owned that cost more than $50, and I love it. As long as I don't lose it, I'll probably have it forever. I guess they don't sell them anymore, cause I can't find a photo on the web.

Department stores like Macy's tend to have pretty reasonable prices on watches. And it's something I'd want to see on my wrist before I bought it, so I'd go that route. I have a nice thin Guess watch with a square face, but I also only wear it about twice a year.

Someday I'd like to own a really nice and expensive watch that I can pass on as a family heirloom, kind of like that scene in Pulp Fiction (or was it Reservoir Dogs?).
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

great, now I want a watch. I've never really worn watches, I just checked my pager (in the 90's hay-oooooo!) and cell phone for the time, but now that I'm kind of respectable, I think it looks cheesy to whip out the phone whenever I need the time, so maybe a watch will be in order... yeah, a watch.

I've got a pretty nice Pulsar. My dad gave it to me when my mom got him a better watch.

Several years ago I bought a really nice looking (to my untrained teenaged eyes anyway) Swiss Army watch for about $100. I just looked online and it doesn't look like Swiss Army makes a nice looking watch for that cheap anymore. They do have really nice watches though if you want to spend more.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Does anybody know: can I send a text message to my cell phone via email? Do you just type the phone number in as the address, or doesn't that work? I misplaced my phone and I'm trying to locate it. I got drunker than usual last night.

I'm going stir-crazy. VoxJr is sick, and I have barely been out of the house in the last week because of it.

vox should stay home with the kids while you go out for a night of R&R with the girls.

I bought a genuine Swiss Navy watch from some guy on a street in Manhattan...

Actually, I have two Swiss Army watches. This one (the menses one on the right)...

Bit of a scare, as white powder was found in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Gee, wonder what it is...
