There's 7 old ladies, 1 old man, and two younger women (ugly) sitting around me. Everyone is quitely reading, no one talking, but the one younger woman is talking pretty loudly on her cell phone. Is that rude? It seems like it should be, but it is a non-library public space.

Going on 2.5 hours at the auto service so far. So much for getting home from work early today.

On the bright side that ugly girl is getting prettier by the minute. Tell me I'm wrong.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Maybe you already know, but if you check out the sports section in the Daily News you'll see a few ads for all types of recreational sports teams.

Don't do it. At the very least, hold off until tomorrow, during the day.

Personally, I bring it on myself because of who I am. I'm a caretaker so I attract people who need to be taken care of. I've tried to change but for a number of reasons I won't share with the world I can't.

So if you come to realize it's something about you that's attracting the wrong people try to change that facet of you. I'm all for being yourself but that never means you can't improve yourself.

It's too early for you to become cynical. Take a break. Take account of your life. Then take life by the horns like a world-class steer rassler.

i feel like being a caretaker is a good thing. you shouldn't change that about yourself. you just have to find yourself another caretaker =)

I don't know if care is the right word, but I do enjoy reading about his life.

I went out for drinks and dinner with my aunt last night and her boyfriend. She's 39 and a solid 9.5 which I think is pretty freaking awesome (sorry, no pix). Also, he's way rich (BOX AT THE LINC) and I think he likes me. This could really work out for all parties.

Tomorrow I have to drive to North Jersey for a bridal shower -- 2.5 hours each way.

With VoxMIL.

And then at the shower, I'll probably be "that woman" who brings her baby, even though it's a non-kids event.

I really can't wait for the weekend to be over.

Nothing distracts more on a friday afternoon than a power ballads compilation. Our brains are lighter-waving mush.

I really don't like returning things. I bought some salt-and-pepper shakers as a gift, then decided it was a poor idea and just went with some fine chocolates. I should return the shakers to the giftshop in the very same building where I work, but instead I think I'll just keep them.

Owater...nastiest water I've ever bought. Don't try it.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

What is VoxMIL? I know VoxJr and BabyVox, are you cloning them now?

Oh, just make the call tomorrow morning...."I was really looking forward to it but then BabyVox (insert sudden onset illness here)"

Or better still....drop BabyVox at my house. We'll hang out. If he gets cranky and doesn't respond to babycrack (whatever those little cheerio replacements are), I'll get my fix of BabyVox cuddling.
