How did the Phillies do this?
I guess they can only get one or two wins away so many years in a row. To do it in this fashion, surging while the team above us slumps historically, is unthinkable. And that's why I love baseball- its the sport where anything can happen. For the first time in many years it is happening for the Phillies in a good way.

i think its kind of ironic all the crap the team had to go through in may and june when all the talk was about the phillies 1st to reach 10,000 losses.And now to be in the playoffs is just priceless.
