I took a quick look over there--they also seem to be relatively sane and stable. I'm wondering if philaphans is the real anomaly among fan forums.

Read the game thread, trust me, i've seen some bad ones.

Realgm.com stsrated some baseball forums recently (before they so rudely and uncecessarily banned me, i'm waiting for them to come crawling back anyway), the phillies one was dead, but the yanks one was active, never checked the mets one

We used to get a lot of traffic from realgm, but I haven't checked in a while...

Well, I sort of 'pimped' bsg.com on realgm.com when it launched (with permission of course) on of the mods of the sixers board actually posts here, under a different screen name of course.

Jose Reyes is clutch? Those pickoffs tonight were VERY clutch

This seems like as good a time as any to ask a question I've been wondering about for awhile. Tonight it may be obvious why the Phillies were content to let Marlon Anderson walk away, but, in general, I always really liked him. He was my favorite Phillie when he was here, and he still scares the * out of me when comes up to pinch hit against us. And yet, I've often heard insinuations that he is 1) unlikable 2) that he is difficult to work with. What is the basis of this? Who has the dirt on this guy?

Plus it's August, the team sucks, and they aren't making any moves.

The 3 years after he left he had OBPs of .328 .269 and .316

Celtic fans actually aren't trolling much at all. Fans of good teams generally tend to not troll.

Only if one lacks sense of humor...celtics fans ALWAYS tend to troll, i'm shocked...maybe it's cause they realize all they did was 'clinch' the atlantic and still are too shallow and have no PG to go deep into the playoffs with aged fragile vets?:)

I only have one sixers board left, kind of irritating, but ah well

The Mets sent C Sandy Alomar Jr. to Double-A Binghamton of the Eastern League

claims as a second baseman, he's had guys make harder slides at him, and that this wasn't the worst of his career that he's made himself
came across very shaky sounding in his voice, like he KNEW he was lying, but tried to act like he wasn't
imagine a little kid trying to lie who isn't very good at it
