Two power outages tonight during the thunderstorms. At least it seems like Spring now.

I think zipper was watching what I just watched a little while ago. We better hope those things don't evolve much more.

Catching hummingbirds, killing snakes, I thought that the hedgehog was screwed for a second.

Today I ran into a guy I used to work with who said that another joker that I also used to work with attempted a couple of lame April Fool's pranks. The fact that he tried it on April 2nd made it all the more lame. April Fool's, everyone's a comedian. Very funny, Dale. Nice to see you haven't changed.

We just had a prescription phoned in by a DVM. It was an inhaler for a dog. How in the world can someone expect to be able to get their dog to take an inhaler???? :?:

The best way we've come up with is for the owner to take a puff without inhaling and then blow it into the dog's nose. I'm looking forward to the owner coming in to pick it up just to see what their plan is.

My experience dictates that, more often than not, the speeders won't even give me a chance to move back over. I'm not going to cut the guy that I'm moving in front of off. I like to have about one car lenght's worth of room before I move back, and have had plenty of instances where that takes too long for the speed demon behind me, so he squeezes his car between mine and the guy on the right and zooms by me. This infuriates me to no end.

When I'm passing, but not quite fast enough for the guy behind me, I will move over... unless you pull a !@#* move by tailgating me or (worse) flashing your brights. Whenever anyone does that to me, I match the speed of the car I'm passing for as long as I can in response.

I think tailgaters drive me craziest of anything on the road. If I'm on a one lane per direction road and someone tailgates me, I won't slam on the brakes. I will, however, take my foot off the gas, and coast until the guy behind me finally gets the picture and backs off. I won't resume my speed until that happens. Safer than doing a brake check, and more fun since I get to watch the @($#!*)'s face turn purple with rage behind me.

You can speed all you want past me, as long as you're a little patient and use your turn signals. Fail to do those simple things, though, and retribution will be swift and merciless.

Tangentially related: if I'm driving in the center lane, do not, do not, do not pass me on the right. If you use the right as a passing lane, then you shouldn't complain when anyone else uses the left as a regular driving lane. You (the general you) are just as bad.
