Finally, someone who agrees with me! I can't stand any movie with any combination of Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughan, Owen Wilson, Adam Sandler, and Ben Stiller. They're all the same movie, every time.

I shed tears of sadness every time I hear Eddie Vedder sing "Love, Reign O'er Me".

Joel Zumaya just threw a ball 107 mph. I don't think the gun was lying. I hope it wasn't lying.

You're about 4'10" and you have stubby legs. "F-Me Boots" are a bad choice.

well its hard for people not alive at the time to have a good concept but back in the 50s and 60s, there was what was known as a movement and this here movement specificated its goal as being for the equal civil rights for all blacks everywhere in america and to punish whites for their begrudgery. also it wanted to outlaw usery.

I have CSPAN's Book TV on in the backround. There are a lot of intellectuals who talk a lot on these shows. It's pretty easy to spot an intellectual these days. They use the phrase "sort of" a lot and say "problematic" a lot as well.

When you hear someone say "sort of" or "Problematic" pay attention for a few moments. Chances are pretty good you've spotted yourself one of them there intellectuals.

There are also a lot of phony intellectuals around. They say "spot on" a lot. That's some kind of British phrase. People who are phony intellectuals think British phrases make them sound like real intellectuals But us guys with the ear for spotting real intellectuals know better.

jam- what wasn't clear? i can look in my text book or email my professor to clarify whatever facts you need. understanding full well there can be a sort of communication breakdown in online discourse, one of the few problematics of the medium. i think delillo was spot on when he called the internet a 'dually expansive-dissociative clustering of partialities.'

I think I say "sort of" quite a bit. However, I never say problematic, because I don't really think it's a word.

The only time I'd use "spot on" would be in the context "There's a spot on my tie."

You may be one of them there "soodough-intellectual musclemen." The prototype for this type of individual is Tom Buchanan -- Daisy's husband. Do you play polo at all? I tried it once but my horse drowned. Anyway, I don't think you have to worry because there aren't any intellectuals in Arkansas.
