sophomore year of HS my hand smelled like cigarettes for a 2 week period. i've never had a smoke in my life...

No, I don't think the length of your "shorts" makes you a thug. I do think it looks rather silly. There's somewhere between Dr. J's tight shorts and today's capri type pant that would be ok.

The classic. They look like something you'd wear for an athletic activity.

Not bad, good for an open gym type game. Hides the fact that you're kind of old and out of shape.

Not thuggish looking, silly looking. Capris. Probably look good with espadrils. Or, maybe clown pants. What I want to know is how can you run and shoot dressed like that anyway?

the last one you showed definitely is stupid. i don't know if that is the style so much as the one you showed with malone, shaq, etc as I haven't seen that many people wear it like that (maybe they do in college Bball as I don't ever really watch it)

of those three, i definitely think the middle one makes the most sense. the Dr. J just looks so old fashioned to me, and the bottom looks ridiculous

Well, the Dr. J pic is probably 20 years old or so, so it's not old fashioned, it's just old. Anyway, pants that hit mid-calf were mostly what I found at my local sporting goods store. I finally bought two pair that go down to about my knee.
