"Last Call With Carson Daly" is the first late-night show to resume production since the writers' strike began Nov. 5. Daly says he still supports the writers but did not want to see all 75 members of his staff and crew lose their jobs because of the work stoppage.

Daly also did not want to lose the 75 viewers who watch his show.

I think an animal just died under my house. Ignoring it would be a bad idea, wouldn't it?

You could go away for a month or so. When you got back, the smell would mostly be gone.

The number of deaths this year from tainted pet food is nearly 350.

Tainted pet food is also responsible for the deaths of many dogs and cats.

My cousin had a husky named Jango. It got cancer and was put to sleep a couple years ago.

Check out pandora.com. It's the best internet radio I've found. It uses information from something called the music genome project to pick out songs based on the characteristics of the music you tell it you like. It plays a lot of great stuff I'd never heard before, and a lot of stuff I already listen to that I hadn't told it about. It's really incredible.
Just an example, on jango, I typed in Arab Strap, and it predictably came back with a bunch of Belle and Sebastian, because their record labels are the same, and they're considered like the same genre, even though their music is totally different. Pandora comes back with really varied stuff that actually shares musical similarities, instrumentation, song structure, etc., rather than just other "indie" music. If you think jango's impressive, you should love pandora.

Heavy metalist Ozzy Osbourne put many of his personal items up for sale during an auction for charity on Friday and Saturday. Items sold included a bat coat, skull sneakers, and his trademark round glasses.

The auction was a rousing success until Ozzy inadvertently tried to sell his wife and kids.

Leno should hire you as his head writer through this writer strike and go back on the air with this kind of material. It is unmatched.
