I just upgraded to an EVDO REV-A card today. It kicks butt. I'm getting better throughput on I95 now than I did 10 years ago on my wired Token Ring network at work.

Slingbox almost looks like a direct cable feed.

Have you seen that commercial for clementines from Spain where the little kids shoot clementines out over the ocean with a slingshot and then you see a couple of American kids walking down the street and one of them catches the clementine and yells "they're here?".
Isn't that just the kind of thing you thought was really possible when you were a kid? Kind of along the "we could dig to China" realm of possibilities......

NO. It's hilarious you mentioned this...

Remember "scrambled porn" on channel 96 or whatever? I remember checking that out one day (probably trying to mess with the tv settings to make it come in clearer) when my mom, in the other room, asked what I was watching, and I answered, "the weather channel!"
