Tomato pie is a pizza-like food that is common in Italian-American populations, usually served at room temperature instead of hot. It is also known as "sheet pizza" since it is usually made from a pre-rolled rectangle of pizza dough placed in a tray before baking. It is significantly larger in area and less expensive than pizza and may be sold in quarters.

One piece of a typical tomato pie"Tomato pie" is not made with fresh tomatoes, and the name "pie" most likely derives from the term pizza pie. Pieces are cut in squares, much like they are on a Sicilian pizza.

If anybody is ever in the Blackwood area, Alfred's Tomato Pie on the Black Horse Pike is awesome. Definitely order like 45 minutes in advance and don't get there early or Alfred will yell at you.

Write to Larry Shenk and I bet there's a pretty good chance they'd send a zillion official hats and other awesome merch to Iraqistan for your bro.

Britney Spears "performance" at the MTV Awards was such a disaster FEMA should have been called in. Of course, they wouldn't have shown up until next Tuesday.

It's almost impossible to teach a kid to cross a street in the suburbs.

"Look both ways?" - check!
"car coming?" - yes!
"wait for the car to pass" - ummm...."OK...you see...the car is slowing down....the driver is waving to us...that means we should go....no...we can go now....I know the car hasn't passed yet......what? you're not going? we HAVE to go.........AAAAHHHHGGG!!!!!"

The sad thing is, she now looks a girl that a reasonably smooth guy could nail: the sort of hot, sort of not chick in your office who goes out, gets hammered and is fairly likely to exercise bad judgment.

In the case of Britney excercising bad judgement, it's a fair bet you could replace "fairly likely" with "highly likely"... and sans the need for libation or pharmaceuticals.

General Petraeus has issued his report. He stated that the Phillies pitching is going well.

A restraining order should be issued against Abraham Nunez that bars him from getting within ten feet of a bat rack.

I've had them and think they're pretty good, but a coworker of mine says they taste like a combination of mustard and ranch dressing.

You'd think the Buffalo sauce flavor would be pretty easy to replicate on a potato chip. Are they also trying to include the bleu cheese and celery flavors?
