Right, which is why his real beef is with the union.
This seems like an obvious result of setting the rule like this. Everyone had to know that teams would do this.
This is the whole point of a collective bargaining agreement. You make some calls so that you aren't litigating the obvious stuff every time someone gets screwed by it.
