I don't thin there was much of a group think about Rollins. Plenty here vented their frustrations at him. Degrading a guy who was a key part of the WC team with bad nicknames and saying he's your least favorite player is a dumb thing to do.

Sorry, new guy. Your first blunt, slightly rude SK posts. Welcome to the board!

Yeah, I know. My sarcasm wasn't as obvious as I thought.

I think all the GMs drank a lot back then. That's probably why there were so many trades back then.

Didn't Owens and some other GM make a trade when they both were in their cups and the next day both forgot the players involved? I might be misremembering.

Amaro still having a job is an insult to every working person who ever had to answer for their competence. Real people get fired for being this bad at their jobs. Amaro is making a ridiculous amount of money for being completely useless. Actually, he's worse than useless.

I know. If we can believe the BSG posters in the work thread (and why shouldn't we) a lot of us do or have worked for imbeciles who never get fired. Mrs. Smitty worked for a bunch over the years.

Amaro is one who will get fired someday -- hopefully soon.

Not many of them make what our GM makes. But point taken. I'm just surprised to see it in such a public setting where it's so freaking obvious to everyone and yet the company doesn't react.

i've found people like him get promoted or shuffled around until they get put in a job where they can no longer do harm. they rarely get fired.

They should surreptitiously record and then broadcast the part of the production meeting where the CSN hosts coordinate with each other who they are going to pick who the star of the game will be. The sarcasm and self loathing would probably be great.
