Rube?
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

meh. 5 hr in 256 pa for a guy who is all about the power and plays in a hitter's park. high babip so far. shitty defender anywhere on the field. plus his contract would not have been beneficial to the Phillies.

I think you're being a bit hard on the kid. He's got the 3rd highest wOBA among rookies and 60th best OPS for all major leaguers with at least 250 PA and his defense now that he's playing RF hasn't been too bad. He's a rookie and playing outside his own country for the first time in his life.

maybe. doesn't move the needle for this team for the next few years though. sign him and he's good, he opts out as the team gets good. sign him and he sucks, stuck paying him for six years. no problem passing on him this offseason.

i've found people like him get promoted or shuffled around until they get put in a job where they can no longer do harm. they rarely get fired.

Or they move over to a management position in state government. I wish I were joking...

Tomas has an opt out after the fourth year, so 2019, but really if we hit on our recent drafts I'd say 2018 is the first year we could be decent again

Actually, if they can pull off a decent Hamels trade (not that I'm counting on it) and with, Nola, Crawford a possibility next year, maybe Quinn, 2016 could be a fun, hopeful year.

He's listed at 255 lbs. Not sure he'll age well. Will be a cool guy to follow though.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can
