Don't get too attached to it. MacKanin has made it clear that Utley gets his job back when he returns, which makes perfect sense because Hernandez sucks, the team is struggling and Utley is key to the future of he Phils over the next several years. And, if he's traded, we'll get another 6'4" 240 lb RH pitcher who projects to be a 3-5 starter or a bullpen piece.

"This is going to be another tough decision for me to make ... to try to figure out how to get (Utley) into games and where he's going to play," Mackanin said. "If Cesar continues to hit the ball, that's going to be tough."

"I will move him around, I can give Cesar a day off here, and play Cesar at shortstop, for example, to allow Utley to get some at-bats," Mackanin said. "It is important for us to get him at-bats and I will do that. He might play first base one day, but I will try to get him as many at-bats as I can."
