Amazing stat from @ESPNStatsInfo - #Mets starters: 2,504 pitches at 95+ this year. #Phillies starters 22! None by pitchers now on their team

That's a real gut-punch.

All by Hamels or was there someone else in there?

Maybe Aumont might have hit that once or twice in his start. I can't imagine it was Correia or O'Sullivan.

Would Dave Dombrowski be a good fit for the Phillies?

Phillies have 4 regulars (Hernandez, Herrera, Franco, Galvis) hitting above .275 for first time since 2011 (Polanco, Pence, Victorino, Ruiz)

Williams, a 21-year-old who bats and throws lefthanded, said he predicted a few weeks back he would be traded to the Phillies organization in a conversation with his friend and current Reading shortstop J.P. Crawford, the team's top prospect.

"I had been having a strong feeling about it," Williams said of the trade. "I told J.P. at the Futures Game like, 'Bro, we might be teammates in a few weeks, maybe a few days.'

"And he goes, 'Really?' and I'm, like, 'Yeah,' and it happened, so it really wasn't that much of a surprise."

It's cool that they were already good friends. It probably doesn't mean that much but it was cool that during the prime years all of the stars seemed to be close buddies. It can't hurt.
