Bought a new mattress over the weekend and it was delivered today. We got our old one back in '05 this feels incredible, I may never leave.

People seem to love https://www.tuftandneedle.com/mattress but I can't give any personal experience. They're definitely cheaper than a normal mattress.

i know value is relative and all that, but I still hold that mattresses are way overpriced for what they are. The margins in that business must be close to four digits.

you can great ones for like $600. Places like Sealy have them marked at $2k and hope people don't haggle with them. It's worse than used cars

The problem is that lying on one for 15-30 minutes in the store is totally different than sleeping through the night on one. Then when you go to return it, it's a hassle, and you have no recourse if they give you a lemon for a replacement
