I usually take in about 2-4 spring training games, and this is my first of the year and maybe it's cause it's st. Patrick's day? I just want to get drunk, not have to worry about driving, enjoy the 90 degree weather and not sit in the lawn where I'm pulling grass out of my ass for the rest of the day and do it for less than 100 bucks for two peeps.
yeah - the prices at Scottsdale Stadium are a #$!&@ joke.
My parents are going to Sloan Park today and taking a shuttle from the Thirsty Lion at Tempe Marketplace, which they do for all Cubs home games. Might be a good secondary option later this spring if you want to not worry about driving and cab it back from Tempe.
I did the stubhub thing... If jimmy's in the lineup we will probably go to talking stick and see the Dodgers. Probably park at the casino and take the shuttle from there and do something there afterward. If he's not, I did find some bleacher seats for 30 at scottsdale. And then walk to loco patron or cien agave for taco Tuesday after the game. Edit- it's the Angels.
