Berube throwing Mason under the bus after the game for no reason because he's Craig Berube. They badly need a coach who knows what he's doing.

Yea there's no way he is the coach much longer

Players-only meeting after the game. What's the point

Not the flyers if you don't try to ruin the goalie somehow.

Suprised Berube isn't a good coach. Who could have predicted this?

That could be. Voracek was quoted yesterday as saying that all the players have left to play for is themselves. Aside from Vinny, these guys have been good so far this season in keeping their disgust with the coaching to themselves. That could change. Berube might have to go at the end of this road trip.

pulling him after two goals with two mins left in the period is chickenshit.

Guy Boucher is the name everybody will be floating. Can't say I'm not intrigued

And then saying he should have "fought through the screen" on the second when that was near impossible, too. Berube's clueless. Mason was apparently (justifiably) hot at the comments when he heard them.

Bylsma will probably be pretty high on the list too.

Bylsma will be but probably shouldn't be.

I'd imagine they'll take a run at Babcock like everyone else with a coaching opening will too.

Do not want. He did little with the Penguins aside from playing pond hockey. He took a decent U.S. squad to a complete flame out in the Olympics.
I hope that Hextall is looking for someone with the potential to play the type of hockey that the Kings play with under Sutter. It tough fundamental hockey. Granted LA has Quick but Mason, with the right support, could put up a performance that wouldn't be totally outside of that put in by Quick. There is some good talent on this roster and more coming through the pipeline. Giving it to Bylsma would be a waste.
