It would be like if people interested in "cloning rights" were those interested in the rights to kill clones.I enjoy imagining a bunch of Natalie Portman clones running around, and all of these "cloning rights advocates" arguing that the original Natalie should be allowed to create and destroy the fake Portmans. I'd watch that movie.
Limiting access to birth control and opposing sex education and slut shaming do not reduce the number of abortions. If you really opposed abortion, you'd promote comprehensive sex education and access to birth control.

Werthless wrote: Reproduction refers to (or at least used to refer to) the production of a child. Although the etymology doesn't go back too far. But now, reproduction rights groups are interested in the laws and access to practices that limit the incidence of births. It's the opposite of reproduction... Child Prevention Activists?
It's like if people who were interested in "Gun Rights Activists" were the ones trying to reduce the number of guns out there.Hmmm, I may be 0 for 2.

He's doubling down:"I don't want to blame my mistake on PTSD, but I do want to say it may have been a factor," Walsh told The Associated Press. "My head was not in a place very conducive to a classroom and an academic environment."

pacino wrote:birth control gives power to the female to decide when it's time for a child in their life. for some women maybe that time is sooner, some it's later. Some it may be never. Birth control limits abortions and prevents the ending of those fetuses' existence.
when a woman goes for an abortion, people for reproductive rights want respect for the woman's needs, not 'sidewalk counselors' threatening her and condemning her.
The surge of unaccompanied minors coming across America’s southern border has given rise to a humanitarian crisis, and with it, debates about immigration policy and border security. Lost in these discussions, however, is the role the American drug war has played in creating the crisis. And this is only the latest crisis. For decades, Washington’s crusade against illegal drugs has destroyed lives, destabilized civil society and generally wreaked havoc on Mexico and the countries of Central and South America.

Where do I suggest that's what I believe, let alone say that? Please quote me. I'm making fun of the branding that activists undertake. It's like Right to Life activists being pro capital punishment.

You guys are so wound up tight. You'd think my comments about clones and natalie portman would have suggested I wasnt make a grand statement that contraception is bad and reproductive rights activists are all whack jobs.
