For the second straight year, I'm 0 for 4 in LDS rooting interests (I "rooted" for the Braves this year because I wanted them to play the Pirates, who of course lost to the Cardinals).

I feel sorry for the Tigers and Dodgers. They're gonna wish I'd never thought of them.

My understanding is a replacement-level team would win 40-50 games. With mostly minor leaguer types, so a payroll of at least $12M
