My only regret is that I had boneitis.

For a supposedly terrible farm system, we suddenly have a lot of young guys who look like a good bet to be league average or better, with Franco and Biddle and Morgan on deck and a lot of talent at the lower levels

Don't goth me bro

They were there last night. They received the Paul Owens award for minor league player/pitcher of the year.

Murphy writes about the fact that the phillies bullpen maybe ok as is going into next season but with no mention of Rosenberg.

Way to spoil the magic
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

Hey, cool, I remember this:

Franco says he expects to be invited to spring training and doesn't care what position he plays. Too bad he's not a catcher

Gut feeling? Do the Phillies bring Halladay back next season?

No. The brass was there last night and saw the terrible velocity.

I agree. I think he's done here. Sigh. Thanks for the perfect game and the no-no, HLHIII.

If this turns out to be the case, it will be funny when they replace him with Tyler Cloyd

It also depends on what else they do. If they come back with basically the same offense and bullpen, it might be foolish to not sign or trade for a high-price SP, in which case Kendrick or someone cheaper is your #5

You wouldn't think Doc and KK would both be back, but who knows

I saw Jim Bunning come back to the Phils once he'd lost it and it was tough to watch. I saw Steve Carlton continue to pitch for the Phils when he was toast. If there's anyone who can reinvent himself as a pitcher and be successful, it's Doc. I wish him all the success in the world, but I really don't want to watch him pitch for the Phils again. It's just too tough to watch.

There wouldn't be room for Pettibone and or MAG then.

Although Pettibone could be moved to the pen, which is going to be a success if it ever happens.
