Juan Uribe's OPS: .722. Michael Young? .722.

If the Dodgers are paying the full salary, that's a clear win for Rube.

@keithlaw: Michael Young: When Skip Schumaker, Nick Punto, and Jerry Hairston just aren't enough for you

We get LHP Rob Rasmussen. 24 years old, went between AA and AAA this year, awful numbers in AAA, good numbers in AA. 2nd round pick in 2010 by the Marlins out of UCLA. Fastball between 91-94, and also has a slider and a changeup. Starts in the minors, projects to a reliever.

Sent cash, not sure how much. I hope this reliefer is fungible.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

2nd round pick in 2010 to journeyman minor leaguer. Phils are his fourth team. He's a fast tracker. Will soon be cleaning out the elephant cages at the Barnum and Bailey's.

He's been a starter. A little guy with four pitches but they are all kinda fringe averagy, especially to the bat side. Will be a reliefer, if anything, as a big leaguer. Could be a Josh Lindblom or a guy wearing bloomers.

Was involved in trades for both Carlos Lee and John Ely. Either everyone wants him or no one wants to keep him. Was overshadowed by Cole and Bauer at UCLA.

I remember Rasmussen from the UCLA team. Was their #3 starter behind Gerrit Cole and Bauer. I think (old?) friend Garrett Claypool was on that team too
