Rangers probably would only want Young now that they have Garza, and they are actually talking about trading Nathan rather than Profar for a bat, so I don't think Profar is going anywhere.

The Rangers have also been rumored to be in on Peavy, so I'm assuming that the club is looking everywhere for help. It's not out of the question to swing Profar, E. Beltre, Scheppers for Young, Lee and money. At least I hope it isn't.

Why is there such a big demand for Peavy? He's 32, has had serious injury problems and has a 109 ERA+ over the last 3 years (410.2 IP). FFS, if you go back to his age 28 season he has a 106 ERA+ in 619.1 IP. He hasn't been elite/consistently healthy since 2007.

If there are 2 older guys on the roster I'm betting on, it's Utley and Halladay. That would be awesome.
