We should go for Iglesias to bat with Revere. We'd have the only sub 200 regulars in baseball.

St Louis loss was much worse for me. 2011 Phils were a better team and in 2010 they fell behind 3-1, so I had some time to accept that they might not win the WFC. In 2011, with Halladay at home in the deciding game, I didnt think there was a chance they werent going to win the WS until about the 7th inning of Game 5. Ouch
Also, I was at game 6 in 2010, and it somehow was less painful than watching 2010 game 5 at home.
My last three Phillies playoff games have been 2010 NLCS game 6, the 2007 NLDS game 2 (Kaz Matsui grand slam) and 1993 WS game 3 (cold and rainy blowout loss) Maybe I should stop going. Also went to see the Orioles lose at Yankees stadium in Game 5 last year.

Best team in franchise history, greatest pitcher of his generation at home and we get shut the fuck out. Howard blows out his Achilles. I pretty much knew the run was over right then and there. Everything about that game fucking sucked.

2011 is all about Game 2 to me. 4-0 lead. Cliff Lee.
They never had a chance against Carpenter that night in Game 5.
That's the one that really got me. I was praying for shitty AJ to come out and let us get that 2-0 lead but we had no BATSjoe table wrote:2009 Game 2 as well. Now as it turns out Burnett has proven that he's still quite good, but I was certain we'd rake him and go up 2-0
