I, like most Phillies fans, have forgiven Mitch. That being said, I don't want him anywhere near any current pitcher talking to them about mechanics.

Allright, see, when you release, you need to make sure your knee hits the ground like that, and then, because you'll be totally off balance, you need to make sure you steady yourself by placing your glove hand on the ground. Otherwise, you fall off the mound.

If the org did, they'd be paying Mitch and not Dubee. Don't see why this is so hard for you to understand.

Mitch Williams offering unsolicited pitching mechanics advice is the definition of chutzpah.

Somewhat related to the Dubee dustup, my dad, king of the Negadelphians, raised an interesting point this morning: the Phillies have gotten a ton of mileage out of marginal SP prospects the past seven years.

Kendrick, Happ, Worley, Kendrick again, these Pettibone starts, etc.

Mark Leiter's son struck out 20 last night for NJIT

So we got the wrong brother, but we can get the right son

Didn't Mariano Rivera show the cutter to Doc at the All Star game a few years back?

Mariano Rivera and Mitch Williams. What doesn't belong in this picture?

Orioles really only have Bundy and Gausman and then it gets thin. There's no way in hell they are trading either of them for 3 months of Utley.

Don't really buy this as the Giants gave up Zack Wheeler for two months of Carlos Beltran.

The only problem is that while Wheeler was/is a great prospect, he was much further away than Bundy and Gausman.

I think he's a little too prone to trying to get guys (including starters) to finish an inning. Although to be fair, they've been pretty short on guys you'd feel comfortable bringing into a jam other than Madson

They're both annoying black guys, so they have that in common.

I would pay my own money to get Duncan to to replace Dubee.
