Floppy never yields when he finally hates a Phil, it's typical prospect heartbreak syndrome.

We have the fifth worst record in the NL if it makes you feel better.

Mitch said Dubee should be canned for not seeing the mechanical flaw in Halladay and his overall body of work. He also took credit for teaching Kendrick his current changeup grip.

Halladay fired back that Mitchy-poo is totally out of line and mocked him for being a "mechanical wonder" himself. Apparently, Dubee and Mitch had a dust-up in Spring Training when Mitch tried to give
Diekman some advice and Dubee told him to fuck off.

Mitch is probably a little full of himself, but I don't see why Dubee would get so angry about Mitch trying to help. If someone can provide anything of assistance, why the hell not? I doubt that Mitch can ruin him by talking to him for a few minutes.... It isn't like Diekman isn't in need of some assistance.

Orioles really only have Bundy and Gausman and then it gets thin. There's no way in hell they are trading either of them for 3 months of Utley.

Don't really buy this as the Giants gave up Zack Wheeler for two months of Carlos Beltran.

Because Dubee makes his money doing that job and Mitch doesn't. If the org wanted Mitch to help Diekman out they would be paying him to do so.

Maybe the org does and Dubee doesn't. Guys get pointers from outside sources that turn out to be helpful all the time. I sense some insecurity on Dubee's part.

Multiple messages can really screw things up. Sure pitchers will duscuss things amongst themselves but that's usually about non-technical/non-mechanical stuff like approach, batter tendencies, etc., not mixed messages that may conflict with the coaches.

Mitch also said he taught Kendrick the change-up, which Kendrick said was laughable.

So maybe he thinks Mitch is a fucking moron and doesn't want him fucking around with the mechanics that he as pitching coach is responsible for.

If the org did, they'd be paying Mitch and not Dubee. Don't see why this is so hard for you to understand.
