In my two years of ushering, the worst crowds we had were for Mets games, college night, and dollar dog night. I believe there was one perfect storm night, and it drove me over the edge.

I'm not disagreeing that people get drunk and sometimes it's annoying, I just think it's sort of a serious charge that the Phillies 'court underage drinking,' especially when part of the evidence is freaking group discounts. they court drinking, sure, but underage drinking?

i think you're taking the wording of a deadspin article too seriously.

i agree they aren't specifically "court[ing] underage drinking", but the groups they are courting are certainly underage and likely to drink.
