Future Phillie. RT @jcrasnick: Jeff Keppinger is hitting .155 with a .151 OBP. You don't see that too often. He has 71 ABs, 1 SF and no BBs.

That's pretty good.

He's such a fucking douche.

I think Benji Molina made it to September a few years ago with a higher average than on base

Yep. But we did just go 4 games without a BB. The truth hurts.

He hit big late game homers. That must make him a two or three win player since the Phils won those games.

That's analysis by the way.

I know people play the "Law hates the my team" card excessively, but he seems to take it as a personal affront that Amaro won't publicly tout OBP and, essentially, kiss the ring. It's pretty unprofessional, imo

I used to feel that way about Cameron but have really enjoyed most of his stuff lately

I don't think it's that, I think he's just a condescending elitist that believes he's smartest guy in the room. There's a lot of these types in the SABR community, and it's the movement's biggest problem in my opinion
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I'm hoping those pictures aren't part of a story line where he takes the Phanatic away in a wheelbarrow, beats him over the head with a shovel, and then buries him before posing for a picture.

pretty much. its his way to stand out. because in today's media, just doing your job and doing it well normally doesn't make you stand out, so to be recognized and move up the chain, you need to be recognizable. the easiest way to be recognizable is to be a dick or just controversial in general. hes chosen condescension and snark as his calling card, and it seems to be working, since he turned down a job in an MLB front office to remain at ESPN

I agree with that and don't care that much one way or another, but he very rarely dicksnarks the avowed-SABR teams. Some of whom suck year after year

Law probably is afraid to work in MLB again because he kept having stopwatch carrying scouts in straw hats spitting tobacco juice all over his sissy shoes.

Lol.

I second that emotion. The best SABR guys are pretty down to earth and understand they don't have all the answers but who enjoy the journey to try and get some answers anyways.

There seem to be more guys like that nowadays.
