The old sunscreen ball is an under rated pitch and none of our guys throw it.

Only if Rob Ducey has a penis that is wider than it is long.

I can't speak to that.

But he did have a long.... career for a guy who couldn't play all that well.

E:60 piece on all the MLB perfect games was cool. Roy had a couple nondescript lines. Good quote from broadcast of Cone's game where Tim McCarver says "you can tell from Cone's body language that he'd be disappointed to allow a baserunner" (no shit Tim). I had forgotten about DeWayne Wise's catch in Buerhle's game where he went over the CF wall, brought it back and bobbled and held it against his chest, all while Buerhle made the same face as Big Ern watching his bowling ball after throwing

interesting. I expected MLB to continue not policing its umpires, but it looks like they're at least drawing a line in the sand on stuff that isn't a "judgment call"

Guy who pitched for the Reds/White Sox minors last year made this, fucking hilarious. Doesn't appear to be pitching this year, but I'm rooting for him to land somewhere

No one has thrown two perfect games in MLB but one guy has caught two. Ron Hassey caught Len Barker and Dennis Martinez.

Pitcher guy there shouldn't ever fake the throw. It's a balk in the MLB and it really pisses off your dog when you are playing fetch.

Before this season started, I thought two of Smoak, Montero and Ackley had to start hitting the way former hot stuff prospects are supposed to hit in order for the Mariners to be any good at all.

Well, all three have been sucking it hard. But the Mariners are hanging in there. 18-20.

Wow. Just noted that after the big two, Mariner starters have ERAs of 5.51, 5.97, 7.30 and 8.27. And this is a team that has trouble scoring runs.

Also, Bud Norris is 4-3 for the 10-28 Astros.

Baseball is, etc, etc, etc.
