He played half a season in a tough league for young hitters, so no.

Greene was 3rd in the league in doubles and 5th in walks (41BB in 257 ABs). I'm still really optimistic about him.

Here's BA's 2004 list:
1 = Hamels
2 = Floyd
3 = Howard
4 = Madson
5 = Keith Bucktrot
6 = Alfredo Simon
7 = Bourn
8 = Elizardo Ramirez
9 = Juan Richardson
10 = Terry Jones

hell, if we could get the same future results as this I'd be ecstatic

I had forgotten about Juan Richardson. I still don't know who the hell Terry Jones is.

Sounds like a mid 90s closer behind on his child support

I think Jones was the 3rd baseman we selected in like the 2nd or 3rd round. Nobody knew who the hell he was.

Just read that Utley lives in San Francisco in the off season. I feel a sense of disappointment that I never saw him there. Oh how I love him.

I concur that Biddle is more of a number 2. That second slot is still valuable as all hell. There seems to be some general vitriol around him for some reason. He is 6'4" and 215 L/L (not that anyone cares about his bat).

I guess I was surprised at Franco being slotted at #2 as well. He is 20, but we are all in on Asche getting to the show ASAP. Asche is 22. That said, if we have a few third basemen, that is money. Look how luck the Nats are to have Zimmerman and Skole (only one year on the field, but looks like a masher who likely ends up in the outfield given being blocked and that he is 6'4" - but the ironman made that height work on the left side of the infield).

He's got a slow bat. Fat hands too probably. More fringe average to solid average than plus plus.

Anyways, the BP report on Biddle has him as a #3 starter type. Not a great fastball. Big guy with a clean delivery and a lot of pitches.

Summary of the rest according to the BP guys:

Franco has a great bat but lacks control of it. Raw.

Morgan is similar to Biddle.

Quinn is really, really fast. Everything else is a question mark.

Joseph might be good enough to stick at C and if so, his power is a plus. Not a great hit tool though, "doesn't command the barrel in the zone" lol.

Martin has command of his control problems. Might be a good reliefer. Has some plus plus stuff at least.

Asche has solid average written all over him.

Pettibone has the command of the control but nothing plus plus about his stuff. A pitchability guy.

Tocci is really, really young. Raw. Who knows. Has the potential.

Watson is a young high school pitcher type who might be good some day.

Pullin, Lino (one of my favorites) and Gueller (might be plus plus some day) are also mentioned in the piece.

At the airport and Monty just walked right past me. Unfortunately Upton wasn't with him.

Maybe he's headed to Arizona to bring him back.

Maybe Upton is in Clearwater with Rollins, Howard, Halladay, and Kendrick.

He's obviously on a strict training diet.

Phillies signed Rodrigo Lopez to a minor league deal.

Ugh. This guy again.
