Wigginton is beyond thrilled to be playing in Philadelphia. He said he enjoyed his time in Colorado, but said when his agent told him where he was going in a trade this winter, Wigginton said with glee, “Can you repeat that?”

Gregggggg says he plans to work "continued success" into them, but it's not gonna be the same

baseball prospectus has the phillies allowing 651 runs in 2012. after allowing 529 runs in 2011.

According to Buster Trollney:

1. Pence
2. Victorino
3. Hamels

Chances they're a Phillies in 2014.

Thinks Hummus is probably going to be a Dowyer.

Stick to your day job, Buster.

Jayson Stark ‏
Charlie Manuel on whether he has a target date for Chase Utley's spring debut: "Nope. It's gonna be a while yet."

Are they just not playing him to prevent wear and tear before opening day or is he hurt?

It's the Phillies, jerz. They never tell.

The official position right now it they are bringing him along slowly to be safe. But who knows with this club?
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can
