When he's not on the DL. They are hoping he'll pass Ruth, Aaron and Bonds. He had 16 HRs last year. Bonds, Aaron and Ruth didn't have HR totals that low until they were in their 40s (except for early in their careers).

that is going to be ryan howard in five years. luckily it's not a huge percentage of our payroll, same as yankees. they print money.

In 5 years we can buy him out of the last year of his contract for 10M instead of owing him $143M.

I'm sure Arod will put up better numbers than last year but his contract should be in the conversation when they talk about bad contracts.

Story about Charlie and the Japanese bath house in today's Daily News is pretty awesome.

I mean, what was the last contract north of $40M or so that these advanced bloggers approved of? Call me crazy, but maybe it's time for them to revise their valuation systems.

Roy Halladay and CLIFF LEE come to mind
they were a chick hanging out with her friends at a bar, the Phillies would be the 320 lb chick with a nose wart and a dick - Trent Steele

yes it was an awful, awful list.

It wasn't the 100 hottest women quality for sure.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

I suppose, it's just annoyed me and Freese getting to 67th over 18 postseason games, a giant steaming pile of shit.

al leiter said that hamels should rank lower because hes the phillies #3 starter, and that takes the pressure off of him.

he misremembers the 2008 world series, apparently

Well, while I agree that lists are subjective and they have their formula for rankings specific players according to their information, i think the one thing that most us can draw from this and agree on is that at least this isn't the ryan howard fiasco all over again
