I absolutely meant it as a joke. If it came off otherwise, I apologize.

Can't wait until the season starts and we can channel our disgust onto Placido Polanco and whoever the fifth best bullpen guy is.

yea can't wait for Herndon to give up a 2 run tater in a 7 run blow out so we can all read a 5 page back and forth about how bad he is and about how (insert 4 or 5 different AAA lifers) could do so much better because they have (insert breaking pitch) blah blah blah

Agreed.

The actual thing has was quoted earlier here was Zobrist mentioned in the same breath with MVP territory. Zobrist has already done that as he's had an MVP quality season and might have another one.

Next we should discuss Mat Latos and Cy Young territory maybe?

Stanford is really, really good. Beat up on Texas the last two days. Mooneyham looked great today. Wouldn't be surprised to see him sneak into the top 50 picks. Hell, he might be a first rounder if a team with 2 picks wants to go cheaper with its second pick.

Brooks Marlow, freshman 2nd baseman for Texas, is someone to keep an eye on for the future.

Hoby Milner, LHP for Texas--BA has him at #84 for the 2012 draft, has got a nice fastball-change combination, but man, he's rail thin. Was 88-90 and I guess some will dream on him bumping up that fastball if he can add a few pounds, but he's got the look of someone who isn't going to be able to easily add weight.

I don't know. Everyone today is named Ryan and Josh and Travis and Matt and Chris and Adi and stuff like that. No more Bobs. They used to be everywhere. Joe and Jim too.

I just checked and there are two Bobs (or Robert) on the BSG Facebook thingie. There just aren't near as many as there used to be.

Also, a lot of Bobs went into consulting and didn't get into baseball so much.

Barry. If you look at the members of the BSG group I bet you a dollar you will figure it out.

Although I don't think Big Ed did.
