ZIPS projects A.J. Burnett to have a 4.22 ERA this year.

Didn't he homer off Fernando in a game where Fernando homered off him?

The host of this Top Ten 2nd Basemen Right Now show just said "Ben Zobrist" and "MVP territory" in the same breath

Also, I'm no stat guy and I can stand Sheehan, but Harold Reynolds is enraging on this show

I like the MLBN shows hot stove and confidential. They inject quite a bit of the "analytics" as they call them. But the ex-players comments can be interesting and informative as well at times. Harold Reynolds is mostly pretty idiotic but occasionally says something worthwhile. The other guys are better.

Overall MLBN is a great network.

Ben Zobrist is really good

Generally, MVPs are a little better than really good

I think MLB Network is good too. But one thing that bothers me is, I've noticed during the past two offseasons, they've gotten away from showing classic games in the offseason. All they show are talk shows and clip shows. Sometimes, it's real nice in December or January to be able to sit down and watch a few innings of a playoff game from 1985 or whatever.

Meanwhile, NHL Network shows pretty much just games exclusively in the offseason, except when it's covering events like the draft. I think a happy medium is needed on both networks for offseason programming. More classic games on MLB, more "hot stove" type stuff on NHL.

Gee thanks. I thought this board was populated by people who like to watch sports in some of their free time. My bad.
