Not much Xs and Os wise but said Mayberry will mainly play LF and also some spot starts in CF

Was hoping they would have asked about Utley's knee.

Would have preferred that to six Dontrelle Willis questions, yeah

Pence the other day sounded optimistic about it

Good point. Pence isn't know for his upbeatedness.

I'm sure if they asked Manuel about Utley he would have given them an answer as to what his status is this offseason.

My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post's to be exactly I'm looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn't mind writing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome blog!

I forgot to mention from that Manuel interview that Brown has added upper body strength and worked hard on his swing, and Garcia and Galvis have been hitting well

It's not clear whether the Phillies are actually interested in signing Young or whether they were simply doing him a favor. The 38-year-old has dropped 38 pounds, but he hasn't appeared in a major league game since the 2008 season. He could struggle to find a spring training invite.
