Perfectly understandable. Rich Phillies owners can afford to pay Jimmy more. And when Jimmy gets his bigger pile of money, he's not going to whine about how he now pays more in taxes, he's going to be happy he has more money.

Perfectly understandable. Poor Phillies phans can afford to pay Jimmy more. And when Jimmy gets his bigger pile of money, he's not going to whine about how he now pays more in taxes, he's going to be happy he has more money. And then his paying more taxex can help ease the burden on the poor phans so they can pay for more expensive tickets.

I was thinking about this today: If the Phils' outfielders had remained fully healthy over the past two years, when would Dom have reasonably been called up? Even when he came up this year, Rube was saying he wasn't ready and brought him up because Cholly was begging for a bat, pretty much. So I'm still holding out hope until next spring training I guess.
