Like Casey fucking Blake is the big piece that will affect the chances of our winning it all. I can just imagine it now, days before the WS the board implodes because we didn't go grab the fucktard.

What did Casey Blake do to you other than send us to a few World Series's?

By being an impossible out for the last 3 days, I tend to irrationally hate whatever fucktard gets hot whilst playing us.

Comment From Nik
Do the Phillies now have the best offense in the NL?

12:40
Dave Cameron: Not even close.

Zo:

Remember the days when the Phillies' offense was the team's Achilles heel? Well, the Phillies have scored 186 runs since the end of June, which are the most for any team in the National League. They are averaging 5.31 runs per game in that span, which are 0.43 runs per game better than the St. Louis Cardinals, who rank second in the league in that stretch.

Seriously, Dave Cameron?

To be fair the guy has a potentially life-threatening illness and probably has missed a lot of games and stats lately.

Then don't hold yourself out as an expert on current MLB events. I think everyone would understand if he didn't have a chat one day. Besides, it has to do with his bias against the Phillies, not lack of knowledge. The guy doesn't miss a thing, other than anything related to the Phillies.

It's nothing different than he did before he got sick. And it's not about him being wrong. It's him saying, "not even close" as if he knows and you are asking a stupid question. He's already invested in an idea and he'd rather be a knee-jerk jerk defending it than wonder if something he assumed to be true is not correct.

yeah that's the same thing as what I said. The Phillies will lose the World Series because they didn't upgrade Wilson Valdez.

Yea, I saw it on another message board and had to use it here. I figured everyone's favorite "genius" deserved it, plus the Pence tweet was awesome.

This is a discussion thread about a stupid WaPo article with a major factual error in the headline, but mostly the thread devolves into a discussion of Halladay's HoF chances. I get giddy reading this kind of stuff. The consensus best pitcher of the last 10 years... IS OURS. MUAHAHAHA

I really hope he pitches into his real late 30's or earlier 40's so he goes in as a Phillie. Or at least the Blue Jays fold and move to some random ass midwestern state so he has a good reason to go in as a Phillie.
