2011 Random Phillies Stuff VI: Return Of The Nice Guy

6.35 60 yard time for Roman on PG website is absolutely absurd. 6.9 is MLB average. I looked up Bourn and found 6.37. Gose was ~ 6.50

from JT in the draft thread. Really hope this kid can handle the stick.

So, Shane-O has evidently been on base in 70 of the 75 games he's played this year.

Jesus Fucking Christ. I've underrated him!

What are the odds Ibanez is a member of the 2012 Phillies?

This team is awesome at baseball. Things like this make me love them even more. We are lucky.

T-Mac has such a great laugh when it's genuine. It's a shame he uses the fake one so much.

I think T-Mac's call on the Utley homer was probably the best call I've ever heard from him. You can hear his excitement amplified right as he sees Utley turn it on as he's coming through second, because he--like everyone else who's watched Utley through his career--knew he wasn't stopping at third. And he peaked right when Utley scored.

it was good.

then he has a call like the one he did for ibanez's homer. "you can forget about 9 for 49. make it 10 for 50. this ones GONE!"

It wouldn't shock me if there was little/no interest around the league and he replaced Gload cheaply. Especially if Mayberry sticks as the 1B/OF backup. But there will be a new LF starter.

utley quietly starting to piece together a really good year...

.932 ops while hitting .299 in july

i would've gladly taken an .870 ops back in february when utley had only 1 knee to work with
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

aren't there rules about % of a paycut you can take to stay with a team as a FA?
