for awhile, MMR played almost nothing but ZZ Top, AC DC, George Thorogood, Van Halen, Def Leopard etc. I sort of loved it back then.

I grew up in central jersey and got the Philly stations and NY stations. Remember flipping between eagle 106, 94.1, Z100, then Q104 hit, zOMG... q104 outta NY was the shit. It was Hard rock AOR. I got exposed to so many bands I never would have heard of before listening to them, and they wouldn't just play "the hits", pretty much any track was in play which was awesome in the pre internet radio days, when they went classic rock a part of me died.

I went to all 3 Phils/Jays games in Toronto this year. It was way F'n peculiar how the Jays couldn't hit worth shit in that series and Cliff Lee goes the month of June with a 0.21 ERA and he's cruising in the finale and then all of a sudden the floodgates opened. Lee gives up a HR for the first time in 49 innings, gets tagged for 7 runs and the Blue Jays just went off in the eighth inning back to back to back to back with extra base hits.

That was some bullshit and I was just shaking my head. He was cruising and then all of a sudden got rocked? Peculiar. Makes you wonder to say the least.
