I think a simple donation to a charity of Shannon Stone's family's choice would have sufficed. Or a college scholarship/fund in his name. A statue is ridiculous and a constant reminder of the tragedy.

I read the original post and thought it was some kind of football joke at first, as in the Cowboys will now have to start whoever their backup is, who is better than Romo, and thus the Giants' slim wild card hopes will take a hit, or something like that.
