That is strange... when that kid grows up he can say ... hey, that's statue is me and my dead dad and head for more therapy
Even if you get run over by a clown car and pissed on by a busload of school children, it's still your responsibility to interpret the meaning of the event and choose a response

Wow, the Giants put Beltran on the DL... boy is my face red.

Beltran hasn't played since Aug. 7 when he strained his right hand swinging at a pitch from Philadelphia's Roy Oswalt.

Orlando Hernandez officially announced his retirement. In other news, I'm dropping my courtship of Bar Rafaeli

Bobby Plapinger is the best dealer of baseball books around, and I love his description of this Jeter item:

19. "MR. 3000" SOUVENIR; let others collect photos, signed baseballs, one
or more of the zillion books which have, or will shortly, appear - HERE is
theultimate tribute to/collectible of DEREK JETER: This 2005 shopping bag
from the Upper Deck Trading Card Company features a large color action
photo of Jeter at the plate, poised to slap a weak grounder to the opposite
field, set against a blue background, on each side (same image). The 14" x
16" plastic bag is "mint" & unused except for horizontal center fold. Frame
it, hang it on your wall, dangle it from the ceiling, carry it with you
wherever you go as you honor your favoriteYankee & the greatest human being
to tread the earth since (fill in theblank as you see fit). or... if you
find the Jeter/Yankees mania gets tobe too much for you, simply place the
bag over your head & breathe....Believe me... I've been tempted.....

He has a 119 OPS+ somehow. He's clearly figuring some things out. Been really good since the ASB too, .916 OPS in 132 PAs. 112 sOPS+ against RHP this year too.

Bill Romanowski said you have to take it within 24 to 48 hours of the test to test positive. But consider the source.

Back when I was playing ball, I kept a bunny rabbit in my back pocket. When I knew the play would be very close at 1B, I'd throw the little rabbit to 1st instead of the ball. And sure enough, the batter/runner was always called out.

Out by a hare!!!

omg. lol. :spam: :spam2: :spam:

The Yankees are 34-8 in day games and 41-39 at night

That's kind of insane, right?

They'd better hope it doesn't carry over to the postseason. I hope it does.
